Mirth and Mystery to Benefit Charity

The Reschio Players present The Spirit of Reschio

The Reschio Players present The Spirit of Reschio

Our annual tradition of staging a family show has come of age...

This year, we bring you a comedic yet lyrical adventure, set in the rampart walls of the Reschio Hotel, and its enchanting woodland. The cast and crew will include a few professional luminaries, to ensure a spectacle worthy of the great stages. Everything from the costumes and choreography to the set-designs and musical arrangements will be created specially, in telling a charming and hilarious tale that playfully unites the ‘Reschiani’ of the past with those here today.

Drinks will be served at dusk, prior to this open-air theatre performance. All ticket sales will be donated towards a scholarship at The Fondazione Mascarade, Florence, which trains and supports exceptionally talented opera artists at the start of their careers.

We look forward to you joining in the magic…

MIRTH AND MYSTERY TO HELP OTHERS

All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to charity

This theatrical event has evolved from a Bolza family tradition. Produced by Count Benedikt and Donna Nencia in the courtyard of their own house on an especially built stage with proscenium arch, curtains, sophisticated lighting and sound system with a cast of some forty young people. The Reschio Players are largely home-grown talent, with a sprinkling of professionals to give the show an edge. Especially written for the occasion by Adam Drew and Roger Granville
